![]() ![]() ![]() Quality is on par if not better than Warmane in my view and while its not as big as Warmane, its quite healthy with about 2k online a few hours ago for instance. Cash shop only offers heirlooms, no P2W or moneygrubbing to be found. ![]() Ideally I'd say choose neither Warmane server and go with Dalaran-WoW's "Algalon" progressive realm, which is where I've moved to away from Warmane. Icecrown benefits from all the great scripting and whatnot Warmane has in general, but does have the downside of the cash shop (broken SM quest and high cash shop price purely a coincidence I'm sure) and shadyness around faking population numbers to try bait new players in to that cash shop. That being said a pay to win itemshop is a huge problem for me, but population can make you endure a lot. Thanks for your insights! - If anyone wants to suggest another realm that would fit my needs I'd be very interested in your opinions and I'll definetly take a look into them (however population is a key factor for me). On a sidenote how many groups still run Ulduar on those realms? I absolutly loved it and I'd like to run it some more :)! What are your opinions on those realms? Is it worth it to settle there? Can someone give their opinion on how much of an issue it acually is? I've seen quite a lot of people running around with Shadowmourne but it's over a 100$ in donations I think, right? If I want to stay competitive in PvP (Warrior or Paladin) am I at a giant disadvantage not buying gear, or is the issue blown out of proportion? How many people acually buy gear? Otherwise I'd just go with Icecrown - the only reason stopping me is the itemshop. How's Lordaerons population doing right now? The forums suggest that it has been in a steady decline for a while now, but do you think it will get better with the ICC release? ToC was hated by a lot of people so this may play a fair share into it? Are arenas and BG's popping there regulary? Sadly I can't get into all the vanilla wow hype and am desperatly searching for a good WotLK server.īecause I want a healthy mix of Arena PvP and a bit of PvE the only realms that are still in question in my opinion are Warmanes Lordaeron and Icecrown due to the amount of people playing there.
